Me Doing Calendar Art.....

 On the Friday the 3rd of September we did "CALENDAR ART" and our focus was Instant Alpha.
 What we had to do first was, we had to go onto the computer and find a photo that had no one in it because it makes it easier to put your photo in and after we had all done that we where finished the first step.
  Now for the second step, what we had to do was go and get a camera, then ask someone to take a photo for you but it had to be like your in the photo that I got off the internet.
For the third step we had to go onto pages and put both our photos in.
We had to put the online photo on first then we put the photo with us in it.
Then once we had finished doing all that we had to go onto format and click onto Instant Alpha and we had to get rid of all the background and just have our bodies there, that was the hardest thing to do.
Then after all that we just made CALENDAR ART.

Winter Sport Field Day

On the 24th of August we where going to do Winter Sports Field Day.  The sports were Netball, Kiwi Sport, Rugby, Soccer and Hockey. My class my teacher and I couldn't wait to go to Winter Sports Field Day but then it was cancelled, it was so sad because we had been waiting for this since the first day of school. It was cancelled because of the bad wether.

After all  the teachers tried one more time to make Winter Sport Field Day happen but there was no luck there. It was sad because the all the year 5 and 6 teachers put a lot of effort in it but after all that - at least we had fun practising.

Hello My name is Abby and I am your host. I was born in Auckland City I am 11 year old and I am a big fan of singing, dancing and Horse Riding.  Sometimes I can be funny, nice and happy.  I love playing with my friends so this blog will be about what I do at school, my learning and some things will be about ME.
